A lot has changed. The OASIS has been one of the biggest advancements, but it is also one of the biggest pitfalls. As the easter egg hunt is becoming more and more popular the danger of everyone who knows about the copper key, and the first gate ever increases. So far all of the five first gunters to find the first key have been all contacted Wade or Parzival being the only one to actually respond as a “joke” had his discussion end with his family killed. They ended up having a meeting of the “High Five” in The Basement, and they talked about the dangers. Now we are left here with all of these cliffhanger’s as to what will happen next will they cooperate, probably not.
This book has the main theme of adventure as “The Hunt” is a big almost creepy “game.” Real life has the same idea as to the point of adventure and creativity are what drive society today. We live in a time where technology is taking over our everyday and almost everyone uses one piece of technology every day be it there phone or a computer or even a TV. No matter who you are you have most likely used an electronic device in out day and age. Although I have not finished my book yet because it is 600 pages, and I haven't had enough time. I have had enough time to realize that this book is definitely a huge recommend. I would 100% tell a friend about it, and if you haven't read it you should because it could very possibly bee our cool, but still depressing future.

I am so excited that I have kept reading this book. It is one that is constantly action packed. Some things that have changed are firstly Parzival has finally found the copper key, and best of all the chapter after he opened the gate. Art3mis is also the only other person on the scoreboard that is only 1,000 points behind because she was second to find the copper key she didn’t get that 1,000 point bonus. This whole section has left Ache in the dust because he doesn't know what is happening he just see’s Parzival on the scoreboard, and is questioning what he has been up to.
This book reminds me of really any other treasure hunting game. Although it is in V.R. it is still something that is for personal gain, and I am curious to see how the money is spent. This book also has a movie that was made for it, and I think that it is very different because not only has he gotten the keys differently so far, but the whole beginning talking of him going to school, and his home life wasn’t even included in the movie. I think that this book, and the world today have a lot of similarities, because not only is the world slowly heading to this future, but it is very possible except for the Haptic Gloves which make things in the virtual reality feel real. This not only would be a break in virtual physics, but it would defy reality and actual physics too. Overall this would be an awesome technological advancement that I wouldn’t bet on seeing in the near future in not ever. The structure of the government in this book on the other hand hasn’t been touched on much as there is this big rave for the OASIS that everyone is hopping on in order to not think of those things. All we know is that crime is at an all time high, nothing different from our life today (except a lot worse in the book as in the book there aren't any police officers mentioned). As for a normal person, you pretty much live in the OASIS besides eating and sleeping there is no reason not to. It is a very fun, but depressing reality that may one day come true.
